Mr Fothergills Green Manure Mustard (White)

Green Manure Mustard Seeds quickly produce organic matter that can be dug into the soil in around 40–50 days from sowing. Excellent for breaking up heavy soils and improving soil structure, this hardy annual also helps suppress weeds and prevents nutrients being washed away in heavy rain.

Sow outdoors from March to August to dig in the same year, or from August to September to overwinter and dig in the following year. For best results, broadcast thinly over finely prepared soil, keep the crop watered, and dig in before plants set seed
