Marigold (French) Honeycomb Seeds are a striking choice for gardeners who appreciate bold colours and elegant details. This variety features deep red, double-crested blooms that are beautifully accented with golden edging, creating a dazzling display of warm tones. These vibrant flowers bring a sense of richness and charm to any garden setting.

Marigold (French) Honeycomb is valued for its uniform and compact growth habit, making it an excellent choice for borders, flower beds, and containers. Their neat appearance ensures they fit seamlessly into any garden design, whether you're aiming for a formal layout or a more relaxed, cottage-style aesthetic. These marigolds are also highly versatile, thriving in both sunny and partially shaded areas.

Plant Marigold (French) Honeycomb Seeds to enjoy a long-lasting display of vibrant and cheerful blooms. Perfect for edging paths, filling patio pots, or enhancing mixed flower arrangements, these marigolds are easy to grow and provide stunning results throughout the season, making them a favourite for gardeners of all skill levels.

Sow indoors for surest results, February-April, 0.5cm (¼") deep, in trays of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Transplant them, 5cm (2") apart, to other trays when large enough to handle. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out into well-drained soil, May-June, 20cm (8") apart, when frosts are over. Or, sow outdoors for ease, April-May, where they are to flower, 1.5cm (½") deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Thin seedlings as required. Water well until plants are established. Flowers: June to October.
