Description: A compact evergreen perennial with neat rosettes of textured green foliage and a clump-forming habit. Clusters of soft lavender-blue flowers with contrasting yellow centres appear in spring, bringing early-season colour to the garden.

Garden Impact: Ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, containers and informal planting schemes where its cheerful flowers brighten the garden after winter. Its compact habit makes it particularly effective at the front of borders and along pathways.

Light & Water Requirements: Thrives in partial shade in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil and should not be allowed to dry out.
