Description: A diverse group of compact, often evergreen perennials forming tight cushions or mats of fine, textured foliage. In spring, they produce masses of small, star-shaped flowers in shades of white, pink, or red, creating a soft, colourful display above the foliage.

Garden Impact: Ideal for rockeries, alpine gardens, wall crevices, and the front of borders, where it adds delicate texture and early-season colour. Perfect for softening edges and filling small gaps in planting schemes.

Light & Water Requirements: Prefers full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil; enjoys consistent moisture but does not tolerate waterlogged conditions.

Size (Fully Grown): Approximately 10–20cm tall and 20–30cm wide, forming a compact, spreading mound.
